Psalm 119.11
Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.
The Bible is such a common book we can easily think too little of it. When grasping the true miraculous nature that is the Bible, we can have a shift in our approach to it. Now it isn’t the paper or the binding that makes it of value but the words that have been spoken by our God; these words preserved for us to read and learn from. This Psalm of David speaks so lovingly of the words of God and how they reveal the heart of our Father. That way we know what He likes and dislikes, what will make Him happy or sad, and how we can make choices in our lives to please Him. When the words in our Bibles pop out as a way to learn about and grow closure to the Creator of everything, then we will share the same heart as David in this Psalm. Then we can have this relationship with our God as we learn more about His heart and mind.
