May 7th, 2025: Psalm 84.10

Psalm 84.10

For better is a day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere.
I would choose to stand at the threshold of the house of my God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.

To be in the presence of God is simply unimaginable at this time. If Moses seeing just Gods back made him glow so bright that Israel put a veil over him, imagine being in Gods presents. Our whole goal, the reason we are alive, should be to be with our Heavenly Father. To be in the presence of our God while loving and serving Him. Yet how often do we find ourselves trapped in tents of the wicked? Being shortsighted, looking at our own temporal pleasures above the glory God has to offer. If we can just keep the glories of God and our purpose for Him centered, we will overcome. Let’s choose to stand at the threshold of Gods temple rather than to lounge in sin.
