May 9th, 2025: Deuteronomy 6.6-8

Deuteronomy 6.6-8
6 “These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart.
7 “You shall teach them diligently to your sons and shall speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way and when you lie down and when you rise up.
8 “You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as phylacteries between your eyes.

As the day draws to an end and we get ready for bed, what do we have on our minds? Can we say each night that we’ve thought about God? Do we have God’s words fresh on our minds because we were speaking, reading, or meditating on them through the day? It’s a good test to run each night to evaluate the day. God asked Israel to keep His words at the forefront of everything they did; it is the same today. God is seeking those who love and seek Him. Let’s run this test against ourselves and keep improving and seeking God every day!
