Do we take on the full weight of prayer in our lives? Do we think about who we are talking to when we pray? We are talking to our God, our Father; and, just as we have earthly fathers that hear when we talk to them, God hears us. When we pray for someone, whether for forgiveness, healing, or help, God does hear and there is power with Him. He can do what we cannot. He has the strength and authority. We are His children asking for His help and He will listen. When we forget about who we are praying to and the power behind our prayers, we begin to pray amiss and even self seeking. Are you praying mindfully or are your prayers becoming rote? We all must asks ourselves this and keep daily in mind the great power of our God!
