In Him, you also, after listening to the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, unto the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.

The power of God, which works through His followers, is supposed to be an assurance to us of His kingdom. The love, joy, peace and all others gifts that thrive in our hearts as we trust in God, while learning and taking on His spirit, are to show what we will be like when He comes to earth. When we are perfected and no longer have the trials and struggles that come so easily on us internally, when the full spirit is given, we will have peace for eternity with our God. We should never forget these blessings from God and what they are projecting into the future.
